Cookie policy

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Here is exactly what that means, and what happens inside the product, which is different.

Draft — not yet reviewed by legal counsel

This document describes how the product actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and some company details are still outstanding. It is published for transparency and is not yet a binding legal document. Anything marked ▲ to be supplied is a known gap.

This website

It sets no cookies at all. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. Nothing is written to your browser storage — no cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage.

That is why you have not been shown a consent banner. Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary; we do not set any cookies at all, so there is nothing to consent to. A banner here would be theatre.

  • No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no PostHog, no Segment. We do not measure your visit.
  • No advertising or social pixels. Nothing from Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn or anyone else.
  • No third-party fonts at runtime. The typeface is downloaded at build time and served from this site, so your browser never contacts a font provider.
  • No embedded video player. The product overview video is a file served from this same site, not a YouTube or Vimeo embed — so no tracking cookie is set by watching it.

What still happens, honestly stated

Two things occur that are not cookies but are worth disclosing.

Server request logs

Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, the page requested and a timestamp — in order to serve the page and to protect the service from attack. This is ordinary web-server logging, not tracking, and it is not linked to an identity. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

One request to our own pricing API

The pricing section is pre-rendered with prices captured at build time. After the page loads, your browser makes a single request to our own product API to check whether those prices have since changed, so you are not shown a stale figure.

That request carries no cookies and no credentials, and sends nothing about you beyond what any web request necessarily reveals. If it fails or you have JavaScript disabled, the pre-rendered prices simply remain — the page works either way.

Inside the product, this is different

The product sets no other cookies for tracking or measurement. See the privacy policy for what the product does with data more generally, and the security page for how sessions are protected.

Controlling this yourself

Because we set nothing on this website, there is nothing here for you to clear. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site, including ours; blocking cookies for the school portal will prevent you signing in, because the session cookie is what a signed-in state is made of.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will update this page before doing so and ask for consent at that point. We will not quietly start measuring you and describe it here afterwards.
